synchronizing the googleCalendar Saturday, 7. October 2006
Viewed 834 times, posted by ben in : Linux , trackbackhere is a very good article about synchronization issues with gmail and gcal:
my goal is to sync automatically my gcal with scheduledworld.
scheduledworld should sync with evolution
aptitude install libmultisync-plugin-evolution
and evolution sync with my iPAQ with Linux on it.
my contacts should sync from thunderbird to the iPAQ, but i am not sure if this will work directly….
at the moment, i do not get evolution to sync with sheduleword. it does not give an failure messages - it is just not doing anything.

at the moment i am using sunbird 0.3 for fetching events from my google calendar, but this is only read-only.
but for the moment, this is okay for me.
here is a solution, but only for windows mobile 5.0
there is an opensync plugin for synchronizing the google calendar:

This extension allows Sunbird and Lightning to read and write events to a Google Calendar.
